I’m a dragon boat paddler and coach, novice runner, yoga-er, feline caretaker and avid popcorn eater.  Over the past 5 years, I’ve lost over 50 lbs by making small lifestyle changes one at a time.  I’ve done a lot of research, exercise, and cooking through this journey, and a lot of it turned out to be worthless.  Some, however, really made a difference for me.  And, I’m not done yet.  The journey continues, and I expect it will for the remainder of my (hopefully happy, long and healthy) life.  I started this blog to share those little useful nuggets I collect along the way.
